Fire In Manhattan Luxury High Rise Apartment Building Near United Nations

About 25 firefighters responded to a fire in the duct work on the third floor of a 38-story condominium apartment building at 330 East 39th Street between 2nd Avenue and 1st Avenue in Manhattan Monday morning. The fire reportedly began in the duct work at approximately 11: 41 a.m., according to the New York Fire Department. Firefighters arrived on the scene at Noon to track down the location of a fire in the duct work. The fire was brought under control at 1:59 pm, according to FDNY. There were no reports of injuries. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
