Biden U.S. OFAC Removes Cuban Cargo Ship HERMANN From CUBA Sanctions List

The U.S. Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Thursday announced that the cargo ship HERMANN (Cuban-flagged, owned by Compania Navegacion Golfo SA) had been removed from Cuba sanctions lists.   The OFAC also announced that Cuba sanctions lists for 2 other vessels have been amended.

The following changes have been made to OFAC’s CUBA  SDN List:

SAND SWAN (f.k.a. “ANA I”) (vessel) [CUBA]. -to- EBANO (f.k.a. “ANA I”; f.k.a. “SAND SWAN”) General Cargo 2,595DWT 1,865GRT Panama flag; Vessel Registration Identification IMO 7406784 (vessel) [CUBA].

TIFON (vessel) [CUBA]. -to- TIFON (CL2059) Tug 189GRT Cuba flag; Vessel Registration Identification IMO 7206512 (vessel) [CUBA].
